Freddy Houndekindo

Freddy Houndekindo is an interdisciplinary artist situated at the intersection of dance, performance, sculpture, text, film and installation. His work reflects on subjects such as identity, blackness and masculinity. Through the study and practice of various combat sport Freddy engages in a deep enquiry of male culture, violence and intimacy. Houndekindo is currently completing a Master's in Fine Art at Mejan (Kungligan Konsthögskola) where he is further developing his solo project “Men/ding: a speculative archive on contemporary masculinity". And previously danced with Cullberg (2018-2024)
