Movement of Rebellion

A short visual poem of manhood in crisis, where desire turns to fear, and love to domination. Through movement and confession, Movement Of Rebellion unravels the inherited violence that men direct toward others and themselves. A dance of shame, rage, tenderness, and release — searching for what remains when the cycle finally breaks.

At a time when masculinity is both dissected and defended, Movement of Rebellion seeks a physical language for the contradictions of male identity.

Created by a two-person team to preserve the intimacy and immediacy of performance, Movement of Rebellion was made through a deliberately stripped-down process — blending choreography, cinematography, and confession into a single creative gesture.
